Like the Rome of yore, we too sometimes confuse our priorities. And at a point in time when we are at war in half the Middle East (or so it seems), the political sect have not missed a self-promoting beat!

Let’s see – War in Iraq and Afghanistan, the North Korean nuclear and missile issue, Russia again entertaining thoughts of world empire, international gasoline rape, choking immigration, fair weather friends, global warming that everybody bitches about but few are genuinely addressing, rampant crime, all-powering greed, and lies of all shapes and sizes, are but a few of the fatal paths that mankind has chosen to trod. And yet through all of this, and more, we erroneously insist that we are godly in nature, and heaped high with brotherly love and good intentions – amazing!

Last but not least - with all of the above going on, and our collective actions becoming so vile as to even make the residents of Pompeii puke in disgust, our wanna-be kings still seem far more concerned about their own affluence and power, at least from what I am seeing in the media, than they are about our collective future or even survival!
