First of all, you had better damned well realize that this is not the mid Twentieth Century! We are not the respected “Sleeping Giant” that the Japanese envisioned after their dastardly sneak attack of 1941 - nor are we the “Economic Goliath” of the 1950s!

We have abandoned our world leadership in favor of “Glasnost, Mutually Assured Destruction, Never-Ending Diplomacy and Idiotic Internationalism!” Let the rest of the world follow, either we continue to lead, or we cease to exist!

Did we learned nothing from the likes of Neville Chamberlain and the other “Turn The Other Cheek-ites” of world history? In my opinion, the “Big Stick” has become too heavy for our politicians to even lift!

Could you imagine what might have happened if we had failed to declare war immediately after 7 December 1941? Or if Truman had been too timid to give the order to dump the big ones on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in August 1945?

With Russia again emerging into the limelight, China Roaring like a tiger economically, North Korea still an itch that we can not scratch, our southern floodgates awash with foreign humanity, Oil being used to blackmail and bleed us, and our own politicians acting like their paychecks are being issued by the U.N., we had better damned well wake up fast, or die beneath a tidal wave (tsunami) that is being, at least partially, self-generated!

“Our only alternative, as I see it, is to go back into mental oblivion and hope that we do not expire in our sleep!”

And yet, many of us, just like the Brits and the French of the 30s and 40s, are still convinced that we are untouchable and eternal? DREAM ON - for sleep brings dreams, and this kind of dream can often turn into a nightmare that is economically, socially and logistically fatal!

“I’m still talking, just to hear myself talk, I guess? But if some in the world get their way, this is a nightmare that we may not live, at least economically, to wake up from!”
