Why is it that this new GI Bill is running into so much difficulty- are not our returning veterans of the Gulf War as deserving as those of other conflicts?

Why are entire battle fleets still being sauteed out into the potential of harm’s way, even as we speak? Is it a military exercise, or could it be that the half-dozen ships and combat personnel currently on the move from the West Coast are heading for Afghanistan or ????

Why are we buying and/or designing U.S. Military hardware out of foreign sources? This includes the Army’s main attack helicopter (Lakota) and the new (partially foreign) aerial refueling tanker, over the proven Boeing aircraft?

Why is the mob of current political wanna-bes more concerned with caucuses, super (?) delegates, political donations, etc., than they appear to be about our troops that are currently engaged in combat? Are the priorities of the “Caviar For Lunch Bunch (politicians)” way out of line?

Why is this gasoline and oil fiasco being allowed to mutate even further? Are those in political power helpless to stop this potentially fatal economic rape? Or are they covertly involved in this rip-off, or are they so damned useless and apathetic?

Why do our politicians take so long to resolve problems, even when the situation is a no-brainer and requires no more effort that tying one’s shoes?

Why are many politicians held to a different standard and an often lower code of conduct that those who pay the bills?

Why do we still take orders from foreign entities over the will and mandates of our own tax-paying, law-abiding majority?

Why are politicians allowed to overturn and ignore the vote of the majority, if the outcome is not to their liking?

Why, even though recession is a fact of life, are the rich getting richer, politicians demanding raises, and illegal immigration totally out of control? I saw yesterday on the news where huge groups of illegals are entering, virtually unchallenged, through Texas, taking busses to affluent American Malls, panhandling all day, and then getting rides back to the border by our own immigration authorities?

Why do we continue to back and even support nations who have vowed to bury us and our system? We refused to pay extortion money to the Barbary Pirates, away back at the turn of the Nineteenth Century - Why then, do we do it now?

And last, but not least, why do we endlessly tolerate these abuses, even though we possess the legal power, as granted by our Constitution, to throw some of these bums out of office?

Do we hire elected officials to enact the will of the majority, or to think for us while ignoring our mandates and the design of Our Founders? Damned good questions - one and all!!

These, of course, are just a few of the questions that are plaguing the minds of many people today. Questions that answers to, have not been forthcoming from our elected powers that be. It is not Un-American to ask our government to do what they were hired to do. It is rather a mandate of liberty that we do pose these questions and expect answers.
